May 11, 2016 – Shirley is gearing up to co-present the keynote speech to hundreds of high school students at York University this Monday, May 16th, as part of the Asian Heritage Month Education Roundtable. She is looking forward to sharing ideas and experiences, and discussing what it means to be Filipino in Canada with an up-and-coming generation of Filipino-Canadians. The event is free and everyone is welcome.
