June 30, 2020 — In honour of Filipino Heritage Month in Canada, and as a form of meditation and reflection for what’s going on in the world right now, Shirley is proud to share a very personal project.
‘Novena’ is her debut video poem, and it’s dedicated to the Filipino workers in Canada who have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19.
