October 11, 2020 — If you happen to take the transit in Winnipeg, or visit Harvey Smith Library on Sargent Avenue, keep an eye out for Shirley’s poem, ‘A Short-Lived Visit.’ The poem is part of a new project from the Winnipeg Arts Council called Winnipeg Words, which features the work of nine poets selected by inaugural Poet Laureate Di Brandt.
